Rotary Youth Exchange

Every year, Iowa RYLA districts send and host students in Rotary's Youth Exchange program. Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) offers high school students and gap-year high school graduates the opportunity to live abroad, attend school, and become part of another culture while serving as ambassadors for their home country. By promoting cultural understanding, leadership, and lifelong international friendships, the program helps build peace and goodwill while developing confident, globally minded young leaders.

At RYLA, conferees will learn about RYE from volunteers who have worked with the program for many years, including those who have hosted students and sent their own students on exchange.  They will also learn about the program from RYLA volunteers and leaders who have previously participated in this fantastic program.

​

We are providing an informational Zoom session after RYLA for students and parents so that they can learn more about the program and students can learn how to begin their journey into a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
